Verona 2007

ITASLIA 2007 is the 2nd edition of the Italian ASL Open Tournament, last year 16 players battled for 5 gruelling rounds and Georges T. (France) emerged as the winner. More people are coming this year; will Georges be able to defend his title or will someone else take home the plaque?

The tournament admission fee is 18 euro.

ASL players don't usually have much time for sightseeing, but last year a score of tournament players brought along their wife so some tourist information’s are deserved. The Hotel is situated at the outskirts of Verona and keeps a private bus service in and out of the city, Verona and the vicinity suit perfectly for a 3-days sightseeing tour, but if you are in a hurry in a 50 Km radius you get Mantua, Brescia and Vicenza, at 80 Km you got Modena, Trent and Padua at 100 Km you got Venice and Bologna. All these cities can be reached easily by motorway or by train (being Verona a communication node every single road and railway in north Italy starts or finish here).
If you are not interested in historical sites you can sunbath at, windsurf over and swim into Garda Lake which is just a short ride away as well as the international Fun Park: Gardaland.
